Welcome to the Sitcheran Lab at Texas A&M Health Science Center, Department of Molecular and Cellular Medicine. We study the signaling events and molecular mechanisms that regulate the growth and survival of both normal and cancerous cells in the nervous system. Current projects in the lab use molecular, cellular and genetic approaches to address the role of the transcription factor NF-kappaB in controlling glioma cell survival and tumor progression.
